Bowen's Report Card
Electric Land Rover Series IIA? Yep, it’s a thing.
WHO AND WHERE?
- An Everrati production
- Revealed at Concours of Elegance
- Hosted by Bridge of Weir Leather
- Climate friendly leather
- Everrati restores classics
- Then converts them to EVs
This is all rather la-di-da but quite interesting. An electric Land Rover Series IIA was revealed over the last few days. It all took place at the Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court Palace, the most pretentious car show on the planet.
An Icon Becomes An EV
What Everrati do is restore iconic models from an earlier era and then convert them to electric propulsion.
The Land Rover Series IIA is fully restored and updated with a state-of-the-art electric powertrain.
From the heated front seats to the rear bench, the Series IIA features Bridge of Weir leather throughout, with Everrati specifiying Chestnut Automotive Nappa. Sourced from the finest local highland heritage breeds, only OX hides are used due to the tightness required when manufacturing such a high-performance leather.
This leather has been engineered to meet the exacting standards of modern-day performance requirements, while maintaining the leather’s inherent natural softest and beauty.
So I’m told..
